What groups pay for a car, tempo traveller, Urbania, mini bus or coach with driver in India, and how a quote is worked out. These are the indicative bands the fare calculator uses; operators on Yippigo quote the exact price for your trip.
Group vehicles with driver cost ₹12–85 per km in India (as of Oct 2026): tempo travellers ₹20–36, buses ₹40–85. Operators bill at least 250 km a day, plus ₹500 a day for the driver and 5% GST.

What is the tempo traveller price per km?
Tempo Traveller 12-seater: ₹20–26; Tempo Traveller 17-seater: ₹24–30; Tempo Traveller 20–26 seater: ₹28–36 per km (indicative, October 2026). A full day of 250 km with driver comes to ₹5,800–7,400, ₹6,800–8,400, ₹7,900–10,000 with GST.
What is the bus hire rate per km?
Mini Bus 28–35 seater: ₹40–55; AC Coach 40–49 seater: ₹55–75; AC Coach 50–56 seater: ₹65–85 per km (indicative, October 2026). Luxury multi-axle and sleeper coaches are quoted on request.
What is the minimum km per day?
250 km for each day the vehicle is with you, even if you drive less. A 2-day trip is billed on at least 500 km, plus ₹500 a day driver allowance and ₹300 for the night halt.
How do I work out the cost of a trip?
Take the road distance there and back, add about 10% for local running, and bill the higher of that and 250 km a day at the rate per km. Add the driver allowance, night halts and 5% GST. Ahmedabad to Statue of Unity (200 km) over 2 days in a 17-seater: ₹14,000–17,100.
Are tolls and state taxes included?
Tolls and parking are paid at actual cost; inter-state rows include a toll estimate. State entry tax is not in these figures yet; operators add it on the quote. Every quote on Yippigo lists them line by line.
How much is an Innova or SUV with driver per km?
₹16–22 per km for 6–7 seats (indicative, Oct 2026); a full day of 250 km is ₹4,700–6,300.
